Halyard announces Darthaven Services as South West distributor

Halyard, Europe’s largest designer and manufacturer of specialist marine exhaust systems has appointed Darthaven Services as distributor of its products for the South West UK region.

From January 2012, Darthaven Services will be responsible for the sale and distribution of Halyard’s GRP silencers, water separators, exhaust accessories, Aquadrive couplings and noise insulation materials in Somerset, Devon and Cornwall. Darthaven Services was selected by Halyard, because of its trade record as a successful distributor of other well-known brands, combined with a proven method of distributing technical products to the marine industry.

The company represents five major engine and generator brands in the South West, and has a significant commitment to stockholding new units. Darthaven has also developed a major spare parts hub supporting its products in the region, with travelling sales advisors and engineers to offer help and promote sales. Darthaven Services forms part of Darthaven Marine, an independent, family run business with over 30 years experience in the industry. The company has one of the largest chandleries in the South West, an electrical and electronics facility, engineering unit and a repairs and maintenance department in addition to the distribution business.
