Halyard appoints BoatBiz as new South Africa distributor

Halyard, Europe’s largest designer and manufacturer of specialist marine exhaust systems, has announced the appointment of South Africa based BoatBiz, as its first African distributor. Based in Cape Town, BoatBiz is headed by Managing Director Gavin Botha who has a ten year track record of successfully supplying specialist marine products to boatyards and builders in both South Africa and neighbouring countries.

Tim Boys, Distribution Manager at UK based Halyard, commented: “We were looking for a distributor who could provide local contact and on-the-spot supply, delivery, service and advice to help us grow our business in South Africa. BoatBiz is a well-connected and respected organisation that fits the bill, so we are delighted to be working with them.”
