Seimi Wins Distributor of the Year Award

Halyard Ltd, Europe’s leading manufacturer of marine exhaust systems, has presented French Distributor, Seimi, with an award in recognition for its outstanding sales increase over the last 12 months.

The Distributor of the Year award was presented to Philippe Gerard at Seimi by James Grazebrook, Managing Director at Halyard, during a recent visit to Seimi’s premises in Brittany.

Seimi specialises in the distribution of marine equipment and after-market products for the marine industry, and was appointed by Halyard in 2006 to support the company’s increasing markets within Europe. Seimi was founded in 1969 and was purchased by Alliance Marine in 2000. Alliance Marine is France’s second largest distributor and has an established presence within the pleasure boating and fishing industry, trading with many of the world’s leading boat builders.

James Grazebrook said: “We appointed Seimi due to its strength in the commercial sector as well as its considerable influence with boat builders in the French region. Seimi’s sales have increased by a considerable amount over the past 12 months and I’m thrilled about the progress they’ve made.”
